IBADAN: Rosary Processions by the Friars of the Dominican House of Studies, Ibadan

In commemoration of the special patrimony handed to us by our Father Dominic, the Dominican friars of the Dominican house of studies, Ibadan, embarked on two Rosary processions to mark the devotion to our Lady in the month of October. The first was on the feast day of our Lady of the Rosary on the 7th. The procession on this day was done within the community. With songs of joy of the numerous miracles the Lord has wrought through the intercession of our Blessed Virgin Mary, the friars, amidst the bad weather, had a second procession from the community to a nearby parish-St. Christopher’s, Sango-run by the brothers. This took place on the last Sunday of the Month of October. The latter procession was attended by many lay faithful, with a talk on the Miracle of Lepanto by the Prior Br. Dominic Mbomson, and a benediction by the pastor Br. Abiodun Ademoye.
